Outlook setup Instructions

1. Open Outlook and select TOOLS at the top of the page

2. Click E-MAIL ACCOUNTS

3. Click in the bubble ADD A NEW E-MAIL ACCOUNT and click NEXT.

4. Click POP3 or IMAP (which ever you prefer-- click here if you don't know the difference)

5. Enter your name and email address under USER INFORMATION.

6. Enter WEBMAIL.WEBNJ.NET for the incoming and outgoing mail server under server         information.

7. Enter your email address under USER NAME.

8. Enter your password under password.

     IMPORTANT:

If you selected imap you can now click finish, if you selected pop3 follow the rest of the instructions.  pop3 is set to automatically download all your email off the server, which means that any attempts to check your email from the internet will result in you only seeing any emails that arrived after the last time you opened your email client (Outlook).  Follow the rest of the instructions to leave a copy of your email on the server.

10. Click the ADVANCED tab and at the bottom of the window put a check mark in the box marked, LEAVE A COPY OF MESSAGES ON THE SERVER.  you may also select the bottom box which removes emails from the server when you delete them from your email client (Outlook).

11. Click OK

12. Click TEST ACCOUNT SETTIN
